"An encounter with reality"

For the 15th time, the HangART-7 art programme opened the doors to an exhibition of works of contemporary art in Hangar-7. From 20th February to 14th April 2010, Austria was the centre of attention. During the research phase, a group of nine artists (four women and five men) emerged who consider figurative painting their artistic home, often explicitly using experimentation or fluctuation between abstraction and representationalism.
