Whenever you hear that art is on a collision course with photography and that the world's best sports photos are being shown to their best advantage, then Red Bull Illume is what they’re talking about – a world-wide search for images from action and sports photographers with the highest qualifications, whose siren call in 2010 was followed by 4,773 professionals. Chosen from the almost 23,000 submitted photos, 50 of the best images arrived in Austria to be illuminated every evening around Hangar-7’s outdoor lounge during the Festival month of August.
