Terra Mater 2020

"Weltbilder" – the world photo exhibition by nature and science magazine Terra Mater at Hangar-7

From 17 September until the end of the year 2020, Terra Mater magazine will guest at Hangar-7 in Salzburg and show an inspiring cross-section of the periodical's best reports. The exhibition stays true to Terra Mater’s guiding principle – “Discover and understand the world” – and has been created in collaboration with some of the world’s most renowned photographers. Great subject matter, reproduced in a large format and presented in the impressive Hangar-7: Welcome to "Weltbilder"!

Astounding pictures, presented in large format in an amazing ambience: A stroll through the "Weltbilder" exhibition is once again a spectacular journey around the world. And it's all the more convenient, because the individual continents are only a few steps apart. Whether it be the eagle huntswomen in Mongolia or the jungle hospital in the heart of Africa, the phenomenon of Alpine glaciers or the tradition of flamenco in Andalusia, something all the stories have in common are the emotions that they radiate. A passion that testifies to paying close attention; an ability mastered only by the very best authors. A fascination generated by those very special moments that only great photographers can capture. The exhibition therefore whets an appetite for more, which we can gladly satisfy: Every two months, Terra Mater Magazine presents its latest journey around the world for you to browse and marvel at – grab yourself a copy and hop on board.

Terra Mater Editor-in-Chief Robert Sperl:

“The basic idea behind nature and science magazine Terra Mater: We want to impress and entertain our readers with high quality. But we would also like to make them more aware of the increasingly critical issues relating to nature conservation and sustainability. We only have one planet. Let’s take care of it and try to make it a little better. The exhibition at Salzburg’s Hangar-7 is an opportunity for our magazine to present this philosophy in extraordinary surroundings – with a cross-section of the most amazing stories produced in recent years.”

Exhibition period:

From 17 September 2020 until the end of the year 2020
