Take your career to new heights at Hangar-7

Jobs

Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport is a unique architectural masterpiece. Although originally intended to house the constantly growing collection of historical Flying Bulls aircraft, Hangar-7 has since become synonymous with avant-garde architecture, modern art and haute cuisine.

Restaurant Ikarus inside the Red Bull Hangar-7 boasts two Michelin stars and 19 points in Gault & Millau. With its patron Eckart Witzigmann, executive chef Martin Klein and service manager Florian Kempinger, it implements the most cosmopolitan concept ever conceived by a restaurant: each month, a different world-renowned guest chef presents their own unique interpretation of high-end cuisine.

In the Mayday Bar, from which you get a bird’s eye view of the historic aircraft on display in Hangar-7, there’s a feeling of boundlessness that emanates not just from the aircraft but the drinks and menu too. Take, for example, the huge selection of exquisite cocktails from all over the world. And a food sharing concept, which radiates just as much internationality with all kinds of delicacies. Hardly surprising, given that the bar food dishes designed specially for the Mayday Bar are prepared by the chefs in the Ikarus team. Their dishes incorporate a wealth of experience gained from the guest chef concept and the visits of more than 250 top chefs from many different countries and continents. So you’ll be spoiled with unique compositions, sometimes based on classic, sometimes on unusual ingredients, which blend and fuse the most diverse cooking styles, techniques and philosophies.

At the Carpe Diem Lounge - Café, which is open all day, an espresso break becomes an experience for all the senses when enjoyed beside the historical aircraft.

When the weather is nice during the summer months, the Hangar-7 Outdoor Lounge offers something for everyone’s taste seven days a week, whether they’re aircraft fans or barbecue lovers. While large passenger planes and Flying Bulls rarities hustle along the runway, guests at the Hangar-7 Outdoor Lounge can allow themselves to be spoiled under the open skies by Martin Klein and his Ikarus team. They serve up meat and fish specialities from around the world, which can be freely combined with a range of sauces and sides.

Each area offers a unique combination of training opportunities, internationality, top service and outstanding quality.

We would be delighted to have you on board as part of the Hangar-7 Team.
